Minty Japanese Army Officer Shingunto Sword And TasselJapanese army officer shingunto sword, scabbard, tassel. Army officer issue sword with what i believe is an unsigned factory blade. This is a terrific sword with a great finish, practically unworn. The scabbard still features relatively unblemished factory green paint with only a couple of small blemishes. The bronze accents are in great shape, nice color and have some of the original gold gilt highlights. Handle is tightly wrapped with hwite ray skin as shown. Blade is in beautiful polish with on pits or nicks. Features solid temper line and shapr edge and point. I have not taken this sword apart.
